Cork

Definition

Cork flooring is produced using virgin cork, which is the bark of a cork oak tree. The cork bark is ground into small granules, and baked in molds at varying temperatures, allowing shade variations, from light to dark, in the finished tile product. Once baked, the tiles are cut into slabs, sanded, and finished with a natural wax or polyurethane.
